Growclass Founder

Sarah has spent her career growing early stage technology companies— focused on digital marketing, scrappy growth strategies, data, and retention. Sarah was one of the early hires at the Canadian Fintech giant, Wave which was acquired by H&R Block in one of the largest Canadian exits of all time. She then led growth teams at Tilt, growing the Canadian business from scratch, launching in 8 countries, and building what is still the largest ever international college ambassador program. Tilt was acquired by Airbnb in 2017.

For the past two years, Sarah has consulted under her company Valkerie, helping everyone from small early stage startups like Perfect Keto, to banking giants like CIBC cultivate their growth and marketing strategy, and grow their customer base. 

Sarah saw firsthand how few resources there are out there to help companies learn key growth strategies. She was tired of bros yelling aggressively into YouTube about paid marketing, a million unhelpful blog posts, and agencies fleecing her clients for thousands more than they deserved. It sucked out there, so she decided to solve the problem, and growclass was born.

Kent Fenwick


Kent lives at the intersection of software development, product and marketing. After graduating with an Msc in Computer Science from U of T, Kent started Ewakened, a mobile software and growth consultancy. After doing the consulting thing for a while he and several co-founders build and sold a contest website to DMT Media Group. Kent has been lucky to work at some incredible startups including Top Hat, Tilt, Hubba. Kent is currently the Head of Marketing and Growth at Clearbanc. helping founders raise money in a fast, fair, and affordable way. When Kent isn’t working on Clearbanc, he is building software, hanging out with his wife and 2 kids or planning for the singularity.

Erin Bury


Erin Bury is an entrepreneur, speaker, startup advisor, and former technology journalist. She is the co-founder and CEO at Willful, an online estate planning platform that makes it easy for Canadians to create a will in less than 20 minutes. Erin is a frequent speaker with Speakers’ Spotlight, and has appeared in publications including The New York Times, Forbes, and CNN. She was named one of Marketing Magazine's top 30 Under 30 marketers, and her claim to fame is being retweeted by Oprah - twice.

Jareau Wadé


Jareau Wadé is a payments executive, entrepreneur, and recovering engineer based in Atlanta, GA. He is currently VP of Growth and Marketing at payments infrastructure company, Finix. Prior, Jareau lead commerce and visual search business development for Pinterest and co-founded Balanced, a payments API company that exited to Stripe in 2015. Jareau was also the first employee and head of data acquisition at, a local shopping search engine acquired by eBay in 2010.

Emily Lonetto


Emily is the Head of Growth at Voiceflow – a platform that makes it easy for designers, developers and companies to build voice apps without code. In her spare time, Emily co-runs GrowthTO – the largest organization of growth practitioners in Canada. Prior to Voiceflow and GrowthTO, Emily led experimental growth at Clio – driving hypothesis driven mentality into the marketing department and beyond. Before Clio, Emily held various growth positions in companies such as: PartnerStack (YC'15, formerly GrowSumo) and Tilt (YC'12, acquired by Airbnb). Outside of her 9-5, you can find Emily guest lecturing bootcamps, and often drawing comics for her satirical side projects – @mehhcomics.

Adam Scanlon


Best known as a performance marketer & serial entrepreneur. Adam is the co-founder of Client Magnet, one of Toronto’s top digital ad agencies, and recently launched, an AI-powered B2B lead generation software. He has a long track record and expertise in online client acquisition with Google Ads being his specialty. According to Adam, conversion rate optimization is his obsession and A/B testing is his version of a fun time.

Gordon Leslie


Gordon is a top marketer and serial entrepreneur. Gordon is the co-founder of Client Magnet, one of Toronto’s top digital ad agencies, and recently launched, an AI-powered B2B lead generation software. He has extensive experience helping top start ups in country with their acquisition. He's managed millions of dollars on Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Pinterest and Reddit ads with a heavy focus on performance.
